Butt Prints In The Sand
One night I had a wondrous dream,
One set of footprints there was seen,
The footprints of the Goddess they were,
But mine were not along the shore.
But then some stranger prints appeared,
And I asked Her, "What have we here?
These prints are large and round and neat,
But much too big to be from feet"
"My child," She said in somber tones,
"For miles I carried you alone.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait."
"You would not learn, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know,
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you on your butt."
"Because in life, there comes a time,
When one must fight, and one must climb,
When one must rise and take a stand,
Or leave their butt prints in the sand."

Autumn
Autumn,
A summer's breeze gone chilled
when the daylight gives lead to night and the moon is new at Mabon
Come to me to open arms and an open heart as I harvest crops of seeds sewn in spring
Yellow and Red are the Greens of summer.
Autumn is change in the air.
Autumn,
Comfort me with a howling wind.
Usher in the long silent nights to come

What Is Life?
I don’t have your answer to that question
this what I believe.
It is the air I breath
the water I drink,
the fire's warmth I crave,
and the earth who's soil I plant.
It is my own path I walk down and the spirituality
I have chosen.
It is the nature all around me that I
sometimes forget to notice.
It is the changing of the seasons
from Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
It is a circle of many cycles.
It is the dawning of a new day and
the moon greeting me at night.
It is the love I give to
others, and the love I accept
into my heart.
It is the children that I have given birth
to and the ones yet to come.
It is the friends and family that I am fortunate
to have and whom I hold dear.
Life is what you make of it. It has it's
ups and downs. Life's definition is different for each
of us. But death is not the end of life.......it's only part of
the beginning.....
